From the "Teletek Times" corporate newsletter of 1982: "Teletek was founded in 1968 as a repair and calibration facility...by 1978 Teletek had designed systems used by [US military and government organizations]...laer in 1978 Teletek bought a firm which had developed and marketed two S-100 boards." They were located in Sacramento, CA. In 1982, the president of the company was Joe McCauley.
